looking for replacement lava rocks for an outdoor grill ... needed rocks that would not fall through w 3 4 grate opening ... after wasting 8 on a bag from Lowes where 90 were too tiny bag was opaque so i had no way to gauge rock size , i sought out larger rocks found these with the seller Green Texan stating 2 MINIMUM DIAMETER ... but to be positive, i even emailed Green Texas directly where they confirmed they screen the rocks they are indeed 2 DIAMETER - or LARGER ... so i spent another 24 2 bags just to be extra extra sure i would have enough larger rocks ... a week later received 2 bags of rocks in a fairly large cardboard box no other packing material - but found MAYBE 20 of the rocks were 2 DIAMETER ... maybe 25-50 had ANY dimension of 2 let alone a diameter of 2 ... so bottom line only 20 were usable ... emailed seller again but seller did NOT reply ... these rocks are not much different better than the Lowes bag, just more trouble 70 more expensive ... deceptive ad dishonest seller ... a complete waste of time money ... IF only it were practical feasible to ship 14 lbs of rocks back ... sigh
